Many people think that brain damage can only occur because of an accident. Well, somehow it is right, but only in some cases. Pregnant women should not experience malnutrition. Otherwise, the fetus would be in risk of having brain damage. This is what we call as cerebral palsy.

Cerebral palsy is an abnormality of motor function and postural tone. It is usually caused by an injury to the brain before, during, or shortly after birth. In many cases, no one knows for sure what caused the brain injury. Unfortunately, it is followed by having no idea on how to prevent the injury. Cerebral palsy causes many dangerous things. Failure of the brain to develop properly, and neurological damage to the child’s developing brain would be some of them.

The next points to know is that the cerebral palsy symptoms. You should know some symptoms following the cerebral palsy. There are delayed milestones such as controlling head, rolling over, reaching with one hand, sitting without support, crawling, or walking, then persistence of “infantile” or “primitive” reflexes, which normally disappear 3-6 months after birth, and the most common thing is that developing handedness before 18 months. So, it is a must to carefully handling your babies for the sake of the health.
